Workplace Threat Management
The Workplace Threat Management (WTM) program proactively assess the conditions, policies and procedures of the Enterprise to prevent or reduce the chances that a potentially violent event will occur.
Workplace Violence
Workplace Violence is any conduct that is sufficiently severe, offensive or intimidating to cause an employee to reasonably fear for their personal safety or the safety of their family, friends, co-workers and property.
Includes:
- Bringing weapons, other instruments of violence into the workplace.
- Exhibiting Threatening, intimidating, coercing, menacing behavior.
- Persistent unwelcome attention, stalking, or harassing behavior.
- Including Verbal, physical, sexual harassment.
- Domestic or dating violence that is affecting the workplace.
- Threats to cause harm to self, or Company Property.
- Creating unsafe conditions by engaging in dangerous actions, practical jokes, threatening comments/ actions, written/photographic material.
- Using language that could be perceived as threating in a verbal, written, or electronic communications.

The company will not tolerate violence of any kind or threats of violence and will respond appropriately to ensure the maintenance of a safe and professional workplace including the involvement of law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
