Employees in the Los Angeles region are encouraged to check with their manager regarding working remotely or discuss any time sensitive activities over the new few days. Continue to check this site for updates.

Preparation – Always follow guidance from the local authorities. This site has information on preparing for weather/natural disasters (see the preparedness page or https://globalsecurity.prudential.com/preparedness ).
At appropriate points during/after the event - If possible, check in with your manager to confirm you are safe (make sure you have their contact information stored in your mobile device). Prudential may also use a call from an automated phone system to ask you to check in.
If you lose power, internet, or ability to work at your remote work location – Let your manager know. Remember - only associates needing to complete business essential functions should report to an office location. Only travel to an office if approved and if it is safe.
Employees with questions regarding Paid Time Off (PTO) - When not able to work remotely should check with their manager or HR Business Partner. They have received information and responses to frequently asked questions specific to handling of time off for employees during the aftermath of the event.
If you need assistance: Prudential has many resources to assist employees impacted by these challenging, stressful and disruptive events. Prudential's Emotional Wellbeing Program, through Lyra Health, is available 24/7 for emotional and mental health support by calling 877-240-5506. Prudential associates and their eligible dependents each have up to 10 complimentary, confidential sessions per year. ARAG (legal insurance provider available as part of Prudential’s Total Rewards) has created a site https://www.araglegal.com/individuals/learning-center/topics/disaster-and-emergency-help available to all employees that offers tips, resources and a detailed guidebook to help them with legal and financial issues they may have to deal with after a wildfire. Employees enrolled in Prudential’s Legal Insurance Program through ARAG can get additional assistance. If they have questions about their property insurance coverage or other legal and financial issues that may result from the wildfires, ARAG's legal insurance includes access to Immediate Advice Attorneys who can offer guidance and support. Information on Healthcare and Emergency Prescriptions from Employee Benefits – Contact WebTPA by calling 800-230-5107 or online at www.prudential.webtpa.com. If you need an emergency prescription fill, go to an open pharmacy, and fill it. Supporting the community – The Prudential Foundation provides ongoing donation support to the American Red Cross, Team Rubicon and UNICEF who are already on the ground and prepared to provide aid in times like these.
